It's a single number that reflects real, merit-based recognition on the platform. Every point traces back to a verifiable event — you can see the full breakdown on any profile.
What earns points
+300Awards win (1st place)The Artells cover + a printed publication and a medal on your profile.
+200Magazine publicationYour series published in a magazine on editorial merit.
+2002nd place in an Awards roundThe Artego cover + social media placement.
+150Editors' PickChosen by the editorial team in an Awards round.
+1503rd place in an Awards roundA cover of Figgi, Quadro or Marika, your choice.
+50Editors' selectionA magazine picks your Open Feed photo (on top of the +5 for the photo itself).
+50Published storyAn article you wrote, published in the community.
+50Top-10 Awards finish (4th–10th)Social media placement in the magazines of the editors' choice.
+10Awards entryYour first 2 approved entries in each round — the free ones. Bought and PRO slots add 0.
+10Complete profileA photo, your name, specialty, a short bio, a link to your Instagram or website and at least 3 portfolio works. The points stay while all of that is in place.
+5Feed photoYour first 2 published photos each week — bought slots add 0.
What adds 0 points
The score can't be bought. None of these change your Artist Score:
- ✕Buying a cover, feature, interview or any paid option
- ✕Portfolio Review or other paid services
- ✕Likes your work receives (they're social proof, not merit)
- ✕Ratings you give (every 20 earn an extra upload, not points)
- ✕Following, inviting or daily logins
Paid options are useful — a cover gets you seen — but they're a service, not merit, so they never move the score.
