1. What the Open Feed is
The Open Feed is a free weekly community showcase run by Artells Media. Every week we announce a theme; registered users upload photographs, and the editors of our five magazines (Marika, Artells, Artego, Figgi, Quadro) select their favorites.
2. What you confirm when you upload
By uploading a photograph you confirm that:
- you are the sole copyright owner of the photograph (or hold written permission from the copyright owner to submit it);
- you have obtained model releases / consent from every identifiable person in the photograph, and consent from a parent or guardian for anyone under 18 depicted;
- you are at least 18 years old;
- the photograph does not infringe anyone's rights and complies with our content rules (no unlawful, hateful, pornographic or misleading content; tasteful artistic nude is allowed).
3. The license you grant
You keep full copyright and ownership of your work. You grant Artells Media and the magazine you selected a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:
- display the photograph in the Open Feed on this website;
- if your work is selected — feature it on the chosen magazine's digital channels (website, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and similar), always with your name credited;
- make technical adaptations needed for display: cropping, resizing, format conversion and colour adjustments for previews.
This license does not include print publication. If a magazine wishes to publish your work in a printed issue, the editors will contact you and agree on it separately.
4. Removal
You may request removal of your photograph from the Open Feed at any time by writing to us — we will remove it within a reasonable time. Features already published on social channels before your request may remain.
5. Moderation
All uploads pass moderation. We may decline or remove any photograph at our discretion, including works that violate these terms. Repeated violations may lead to account suspension.
6. Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the content you upload. If a third party raises a claim related to your photograph (copyright, personality rights, etc.), you agree to resolve it and to compensate documented damages caused by your breach of these terms.
7. Personal data
We process your personal data (name, email, links you provide) according to our Privacy Policy to operate the Open Feed, contact you about selections and display your credit.
Operator and law
The Open Feed is operated by Individual Entrepreneur Marina Abramova, Varkhani, 7th Street N7, Adigeni Municipality, Georgia (Identification No. 322783653), team@artellsmedia.com. These terms are governed by the laws of Georgia; mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain unaffected.
Paid extra uploads
Beyond the free weekly limit you may buy an extra upload slot ($5). The slot is prepared immediately at your request and is non-refundable once used; unused slots are refundable — see the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Moderation
Uploads pass automated screening (AI) for prohibited content and editorial fit; a clean verdict publishes the photo immediately, anything else waits for a human editor. Removal decisions are made or confirmed by people, and you can appeal once from your account.
