Publisher: Individual Entrepreneur Marina Abramova, Varkhani, 7th Street N7, Adigeni Municipality, Georgia (Identification No. 322783653) — the "Publisher". By ticking the consent box and submitting works, the submitter (the "Author") enters into this Agreement.
Ownership. The Author confirms they are the sole and exclusive owner of all copyright and related rights in the photographs, videos and texts submitted (the "Content"), or duly authorised in writing by the owner to grant the rights below.
Licence. The Author grants the Publisher a non-exclusive, worldwide, lasting for the full term of copyright in the Content, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, publish, display, crop, retouch and otherwise edit the Content in Artells Magazine (print and digital), on the Publisher's and the magazines' websites, social media accounts (including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok), submission platforms, and in advertising, promotional and commercial materials of the Publisher, including materials that generate revenue, with the right to sublicense to the Publisher's production and distribution partners for these purposes.
AI-assisted promotion. The Publisher may use the Content to create AI-assisted animations or short videos solely to promote the issue, the magazine and the platform, always with the Author's credit; this use is covered by the licence above and creates no separate claim.
Team credits. The Author confirms that every collaborator named in the credits has agreed to be credited and informed about the Privacy Policy.
Releases. The Author confirms that every identifiable person depicted in the Content (or their parent/guardian for minors, or their agent) has given valid consent (model release) covering publication and promotional use described above, without territorial or time limits, and that the photographer's consent has been obtained where required.
Attribution. The Publisher credits the Author and the team as supplied. A credit may be omitted or abbreviated only where it is technically impracticable (cover mosaics, thumbnails, social-media formats without caption space); in all other cases the credit is given. The Author consents to cropping, colour adjustment and layout edits that do not distort the work.
Indemnity. The Author will indemnify and hold harmless the Publisher against all claims, damages, costs and expenses arising from a breach of the Author's warranties in this Agreement, including third-party copyright, image-rights and privacy claims.
No guarantee; no fee. Publication of free submissions is not guaranteed. No royalty or fee is payable to the Author for uses under this Agreement. The Publisher does not provide free print or digital copies; tear sheets are provided within one month after the issue is released.
Personal data. Personal data provided with the submission is processed under the Publisher's Privacy Policy: artellsmedia.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Verification pages. The Publisher maintains public verification pages confirming publications and awards (artellsmedia.com/verified/…). The Author consents to their name, the work concerned and the fact of the achievement being displayed on these pages. A verification page can be taken down at the Author's written request, in which case documents referencing it lose their online verification.
Paid placements. Where the Author purchases a paid option (such as a cover or an interview feature), the purchase secures the placement described in the order only. Paid placements are identified internally; confirmation documents for paid placements state the fact of publication without characterising the selection. No purchase creates any claim to editorial awards or contest results.
Governing law. This Agreement is governed by the laws of Georgia. Mandatory consumer and authors'-rights protections of the Author's home jurisdiction remain unaffected.
