The Psychedelic Pulse of the Sea: An Urgent Call for Corals
When I began shaping the Blue Territory series, I had a very clear image in mind: the oceans are not merely a distant landscape, but a vibrant, sacred home that sustains life on Earth.

The Psychedelic Pulse of the Sea: An Urgent Call for Corals
When I began shaping the Blue Territory series, I had a very clear image in mind: the oceans are not merely a distant landscape, but a vibrant, sacred home that sustains life on Earth.

Through my work, I seek to fuse art, color, and psychedelia with a mission of profound ecological awareness. I paint corals—vivid, majestic, and teeming with life—because I know that without them, the sea would collapse. Every stroke of light, every fluorescent hue, and every marine guardian—such as whales, sea turtles, and octopuses—serves as a reminder that we must protect this ecosystem before it is too late. My message is simple yet firm: long live the corals, full of life, vibrant and eternal! This collection is my tribute to the "blue territory" and an invitation to fall deeply in love with it, so that we may defend it.

Life as it is! The series contains photographs I made during my travels through Chennai, Kerala, Kodaikanal and Masinagudi. Each moment was a milestone in my photography career, helping me see better than I did the previous day.Shiva ShankarGot a story of your own?
